Escape to RiverWood Cottage, a private 2-bedroom home located on a shared, scenic riverfront estate in Jackson Village. Minutes from skiing, hiking, golf, mountain biking, and Mount Washington, it's the perfect home base for exploring the White Mountains year-round.
Good to know
Morning coffee at the kitchen island before a hike into the White Mountains, or a slow stretch in the sauna after a day on the slopes. The Cottage at Riverwood is built for that kind of stay: a two-bedroom house with an open living, kitchen, and dining area, and a raised sitting room with fireplace to one side. A king bedroom, a bunk room with a full lower and twin upper, and a sleeper sofa sleep up to seven, with one full bath, one half bath, and a washer and dryer. Walk through your french doors outside to your own private patio with a grill area, your own private seven-person hot tub, and cedar barrel sauna, and outdoor seating. Guests also have access to Riverwood’s shared wellness area located on the back of the property: a cedar barrel sauna, cold plunge, 7-person hot tub, and a fire pit ringed with Adirondack chairs. Follow the Confluence Trail from the back of the property and you’ll land on a quiet stretch of river, smooth stones and a small sandy beach, right where the Ellis and Wildcat come together. Jackson has drawn people to this spot since the 1800s, one of New England’s first mountain resort towns. The 1876 covered bridge still marks the village entrance, and the White Mountains rise right outside your door, trailheads and ski touring just minutes away. A tranquil place to gather, and an easy one to settle into.
